The World Cup 2014 was arguably one of if not the best World Cup ever and much credit has to go to Brazil who were great hosts and showed they could put on a great spectacle despite the criticism beforehand. The football was also amazing with loads of goals by great players in great games.
Some of my highlights were:
Brazil 3-1 Croatia – the opening game which got the tournament going.
Holland 5-1 Spain – Very surprising with Spain getting destroyed.
Brazil 1-7 Germany – Best game of tournament with the hosts getting thrashed by Germany.
James Rodriguez volley against Uruguay
Van Persie headed goal against Spain
Tim Cahill volley against Holland
