Arsenal v Swansea Review

Back to the Premier League and we were up against our bogey team in recent seasons. Especially away from home we haven’t been so lucky but this time even after the loss in the Capital One Cup I felt confident as we had won our previous four league games before this.

The first half was a close encounter with both teams going for it in an end to end game. They had a great chance when their striker Gomis was clean through only for a brilliant match saving tackle from Hector Bellerin who has been amazing for us this season. So the score was 0-0 at half time with both teams having chances with Swansea perhaps the closest.

The second half though completely changed. Our only fit out and out striker Giroud headed in the first goal of the game followed by a controversial Koscielny second where he seemed to foul Fabianski and then Campbell silenced his critics to add a third.

It finished 3-0 and we are flying in the league now, winning our last 5 games in a row. We are still tied at the top with Man City on the same points and it is very early on but this is a great chance this year to win the league especially with Chelsea doing so badly!
