Watford v Arsenal Review

This was already a must win match after struggling in the first two games and I think the players knew that.

We started very well as our key players Sanchez and Özil combined very well and we were rewarded with a penalty after Sanchez was fouled in the box. This time Cazorla stepped up (a lot more reliable than Walcott) and he scored to put us ahead. This was then followed by a goal from Sanchez which just went over the line and then he set up Özil making it 3-0 at half time. It was surely game over.

In the second half we predictably relaxed as we could afford to but perhaps too much as Watford pulled one back to make it a nervy end to the game. Cech had to make some good saves proving again why he is our number one goalkeeper.

It finished 3-1 though and we got our much needed first 3 points of the season.
